How to: iOS 4 iPhone Tethering

Finally, thanks to the release of the iOS 4 we can tether using our iPhones. Next to multi-tasking ( or near-multi-tasking as the case may be), this functionality has been one of the most sought after features on Apple’s iconic device from jump.

Here’s how you do it:

Go to the Settings app, choose General, then Network, Turn on Internet Tethering.

You may get the option to tether via bluetooth or USB.

That’s for the phone side, but here’s the rub. You actually have to go to the AT&T site and configure and purchase it from them for it to work.

Log into your AT&T account under My Services you will see option to activate tethering

Fair warning, the prices are JUST  NUTS. We wish we could activate tethering old days like we did on the 3.0 here.
