Wall Of Sound: iPad Accessory Turns Any Flat Surface Into A Speaker

Let's face it: if the original iPod (and later iPhone and iPad) speaker buds were so damn good, there wouldn't be a third-party market for external speakers solutions.  Enter the WOWee ONE, a plug-in…I guess "transducer" is the term…that, when placed on a flat surface (table, wall, etc.) turns said surface into one big speaker.  The US$79.99 gizmo's main bragging point (aside from its "the perfect companion for the iPad" rheotoric) is it's "gel audio" technology, which claims to boost that all-important bass response by a good three octaves.  Video demo starts now:
