This was touched on last week when iPad display manufacturer LG's Chief, Kwon Young-soo said that his company was unable to keep up with the demand. However, what we didn't hear was that this may cause Apple to delay shipments to some countries.
"Apple may have to delay launches of the iPad for some countries due to tight component supplies and strong demand," said Young-soo.
Though the news may not be as bad as it sounds, because we also heard that Apple had appointed Samsung as a second manufacturer of iPad displays to lighten the load off of LG if needed. Unfortunately, there is no word or confirmation on that as of right now.
