Users of the Android Market are probably aware that you can actually buy and try an app for 24 hours, then return it for a refund.
Now iDevice users are getting a similar service — sort of.
The App Store has added a "Try Before You Buy" section…which, on closer examination, is just the same free/lite versions of apps they've always carried, just grouped together in their own section. There's still no "true" return policy for purchasing full-blown apps — which explains why app developers have been offering their own trial versions along with the full-blown for-pay app.
