Tech website CanalMX reports that the iPhone 4 may be getting a hardware revision com late September. This is according to Marco Quatorze, an executive at Telcel, a carrier in Mexico. Telcel started carrying the phone on August 27th.
However, the interesting bit is that he says that as of September 30, Telcel will "be available in new devices that do not have the reception issue," (translated from Spanish). This may mean new version of the iPhone 4 will be released. Don't get excited just yet, we are sure the revision won't look any different, and even if it does happen, it will be updated quietly. Maybe Apple is just lining those antennas with clear nail polish as speak.
