We'll skip the border-hopping jokes that accompanied our story on the iPhone 4's debut in Canada, but…
According to Apple Mexico, the i4 is set to debut "south of the border" in both locked and unlocked flavors. Previously, Telcel had the exclusive contract for Mexican iPhones, but that appears to be ending.
Prices have not been set for the unlocked i4, but unlocked 3Gs' can be had for 8,199 pesos (about US$652.00).
This makes the USA the only country in North America not to offer (legal) unlocked iPhones at any price. Go Dev-Team!
