Chang Ma, LG's vice president of marketing of its mobile devices division spoke with the Wall Street Journal regarding their upcoming tablet computer.
Ma claims that while the iPad is a "great device," he doesn't do much work on it, "Our tablet will be better than the iPad."
It will include content focused on creation, such as writing documents, video editing and creating programs, the Journal reports. In a nutshell, the device will place added emphasis on productivity, "it's going to be surprisingly productive," he adds.
He was also asked if there was a chance for LG to catch up in the smartphone market. He answered, "the race hasn't started yet."
Those are some bold statements, but confidence is good. Let's just hope his words aren't just marketing talk.
