Clear's iSpot personal wifi hotspot is by default restricted to devices such as the iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone. Clear will unlock it for you, but they don't mention specifics when it comes to pricing if one goes that route. We reported on the recently announced device last week.
Turns out that it's easy to hack the device in order to gain wifi access with several other devices. Those who want to open up their device need only download a config file and follow the directions in the following link: ispotunrestricted.
