More Apple TV rumor details are making their way to the internet, thanks again to Engadget and their reliable source. Over the past several months several stories have emerged regarding an update to Apple TV. The newer rumors still point to something that looks like an iPhone with no screen, and will run on the A4 chip with 16 gigs of flash storage. The device may also lose 1080p playback.
16GB may seem wimpy for a device meant to playback movies and TV shows, but it seems that this one will come alongside the introduction of a streaming movie service. If the rumors are true, the device will be rebranded as iTV and should run on iOS, meaning you can use Apps as well.
If Engadget's source is right, this rumor will become a reality sometime this Fall.
