Seoul Provider: The iPhone 4 Readies Its South Korea Debut

South Korea is official two months away from making the iPhone 4 available to wireless customers.  The Korea Communications Commission confirmed that they had granted a certification for the phone after reviewing documents submitted by Apple, including locally-conducted tests.  Interestingly, Apple only filed its application to sell the i4 on July 29th, meaning the certification was rammed through in a matter of days.

KT Corporation, which has an AT&T-like exclusive on iPhones in South Korea, has aggressively targeted this September for the i4's debut.

Unfortunately, North Korea remains iPhone-less for the moment.  But at least they still have the fabled traffic-control girls that captured the heart of no less than film critic Roger Ebert.
