If you ever want to check some of your Android phone's inner-workings you can do so by running a few codes. You may remember a recent code for the iPhone that showed users how to enter Field Test mode. You can see that one here

All you have to do is dial the numbers, and you can run several diagnostics.

WARNING: some of the below codes can really screw things up if you aren't sure what you are doing. Some are made to completely wipe the phone, which you probably don't want to do.

See the codes below:

*#*#4636#*#* – this code will show you diagnostic information about your battery, phone information and usage statistics.

*#*#7780#*#* – This will do a factory reset on data, it erases your Google account data, settings and downloaded applications. It will leave in the current OS software as well as built-in apps, and files on your SD card.

*2767*3855# – This code will completely format the phone to factory settings. Dialing this will wipe everything on your phone.

*#*#7594#*#* – This lets you change the "end call / power" button action in your phone.

*#*#273283*255*663282*#*#* – Opens a file copy screen that lets you backup media files.
