It's a netbook case. The one we bought is by Targus. The truth is this: Best Buy didn't have any iPad cases at the time and we were in a bit of a pinch. We looked around for a netbook case that might work and found this little case for about $20 bucks. It was one of the cheaper ones available, so it worked.
The nice thing about this one is that it has an inner and outer lip covering the zipper. That means the zipper is not exposed on the outside, and it's not exposed on the inside, meaning you don't have to worry about it scratching your device.
It may not seem like much, but the case works. It's soft and the iPad feels pretty well protected in there. It's not a perfect fit, but it goes in rather nicely and doesn't seem to move around much. Most iPad cases seem to range anywhere from $40 (twice as much as this one cost at the store) to $70 on average. Unless you buy some fancy designer case for $400 in which you paid the money just because it has some overrated designer's name stitched onto it.
Heck Amazon has the same case for $10, that's a bargain compared to what we paid. The $30-$60 you save can go into Apps and music instead.
