Epic Games, the maker of such big budget AAA-games such as Gears of War and Unreal Tournament, may already be testing out iOS4.2.
Word of this comes because over the weekend, the studio released an update to their Epic Citadel demo. The demo shows the capabilities of the Unreal Engine 3 (UE3) running on an iOS device such as the iPhone or iPad.
With the new update came the usual list of fixes. Most notably, one that reads, "Fixed performance issues on iPad devices running iOS4 or later."
iOS4.2 won't be available on the iPad until November, making it the first version of iOS4 to make its way to the iPad.
