Google has announced today their 100,000 app milestone for the Android Market. That's a lot of applications, and it only seems to be growing.
However, we've also been left wondering how well the developers fare here. It's already been reported numerous times that app makers have a difficult time monetizing their software. This has been the biggest shortcoming of developing for the Android, and it's mostly because there seems to be no one way for users to purchase apps.
The Android market first launched in October 2008.
