Meet Google's URL Shortner: http://goo.gl/ it's pretty cool because it lets you condense any long URL. This is especially useful for things such as linking friends for for meeting the 140 character limit in a tweet.
Of course Google didn't stop there. They decided to have a little fun with it.
For instance, here is iSmashPhone shortened: goo.gl/WGCn that link will take you to iSmashPhone's home page.
Now if you type that same URL out and add .qr goo.gl/WGCn.qr and navigate there, you will get a QR code:
Just for fun, we downloaded a free App for the iPhone called QR Reader for iPhone: Link
There are plenty of them around, we just grabbed the first free one we saw.
Then we simply take a picture and the iPhone navigates to the website. Check out the video above.
As a side note it's possible to shorten a URL on your iPhone, or add the .qr to generate a QR code from your phone:
