The Dev Team will unleash their latest jailbreak — a new version of their GreenPois0n hack — in a matter of days, as per a Twitter message from member p0sixninja:
Things have progressed to the point where we don’t expect anymore roadblocks. ETA for greenpois0n is 10/10/10 at 10:10:10AM
(Welcome to the “10-Spot…”) Keep in mind the “E” in “ETA” does stand for “estimated.”
The update appears to be centered around @pod2g‘s bootrom exploit that’s immune to software patches or even reflashed/patched bootroms, and will work on iPads, iPods, and iPhones. So this will be not only the first iOS 4.1 jailbreak, it’s the one that Apple can’t fix without a major hardware overhaul. Coupled with the fact that jailbreaking is now considered legal, there is now almost no reason NOT to jailbreak your iDevice. (Don’t believe us? Talk about opening the door and throwing away the key! October 10th can’t come fast enough.

hello and i have been following greenpois0n for sometime. Well greenpois0n does jailbreak your iphone, itouch or ipad it also hackivates your iphone. This means it allows you to get into the phone without a regular sim card. However when your iphone updates to 4.1 it updates the baseware to something like 5.14 (im not sure if that is right but it should work for my purposes to explaining it you). So let’s just it uupdated it to 5.14. That means the old baseware was 5.13 witch ultrasn0w supported. We have to wait till Ultrasn0w includes baseware 5.14 however people are skeptical if ultrasn0w will ever be compatable with 5.14 Im sure they will make it compatible.
On the off chance you have not updated to 4.1 and you use snowbreeze to 4.1 then your baseware has not changed but if that was happening then you would not be looking at greenpois0n hope this helps
does greenpois0n include jailbreak and unlock?
For some reason, users cannot write in proper English. Jamie Fitzgerald, for instance, makes no sense. I have no idea what he just said, therefore, I am ignoring it.
