The New York Times has had a bit of a history with the iPad. When the App was first released, it was the target of a lot of criticism thanks to its cut-back in content. The App did not include all of the sections found in the paper edition of the Times.
That changes today. The New York Times App is now available on the App Store and it is the full paper as well as some of the blogs from the website. In addition to that, users can receive notifications when breaking news happens, this of course even when the App isn't open.
It's free for now, but the Times has said already that they will be charging for content beginning in "early 2011."
Still, based on the comments, it seems that this App is making many users happy. Many have said in the past that they wouldn't mind paying for the full paper. Well, here it is.
