More sales metrics from Asymco, who yesterday demonstrated that the iPhone had shot past the iPod in units shipped and would start cannibalizing sales of same.
Today, it's an iPad vs. Macintosh death match — and Asymco is putting the winner's wreath on the tablet, for individually outselling desktop and laptop Macs in the second and third quarter of 2010. In fact, for Q3 the iPad trounced both classes of Mac combined.
And to put that in perspective: iPads have only been available for six months. Macs of one form or another have been around for nearly twenty-seven freakin' years. Can you say "paradigm shift," boys and girls?
