We’re still trying to ascertain the authenticity of this clip, but it appears that the December issue of VOGUE Russia has a full-page advertisement for Dolce & Gabbana’s Martini Gold liquor that includes an embedded video player.
Yes, a video player. Inside a real, dead-tree-media magazine. Not an app, not an e-zine, not a Flash applet or YouTube code snippet. A one-shot, disposable video player. Then again, we’ve already seen magazine inserts with those musical birthday card-style audio players — even USB drives — so a video player is the next logical step, nyet?
