We've heard it before, continuous rumors of an iPhone on Verizon. As we as we know, it's going to happen. But as has been said before, it's not happening anytime within 2010.
Why bring this up again? Well, a rumor started recently that a Verizon iPhone could be on the way as early as this year, thanks to a leaked Verizon document that mentioned an "Iconic Device" launching on November 9th. With good reason, many figured that an "Iconic Device" could very well be an iPhone on Verizon's network.
However, website Android Central has debunked that rumor by posting some leaked screens that show the Motorola Droid Pro goes on pre-sale on November 9th (as indicated by the screenshot below):
So when will we see a Verizon iPhone release date?
There is plenty of speculation going on right now, but most expect a release to happen in early 2011. Some reports say it could come alongside the iPad 2 release announcement and others figure that such a device would get it's own press event. We tend to agree that either way, we won't see it happen without a big Apple press event, and iPhone on Verizon, or any other carrier for that matter, would be huge news that would get the company the press that they want.

Anyway, I will be waiting for the arrival of the verizon iPhone, although I also like another verizon phone, but the huge apple app market attract me all the time, which is full of surprise and exciting, at the same time, I almost can enjoy all kinds of video just with my iphone if i get an Aneesoft video converter! That great! so, the verizon iphone, coming soon!
I was waiting for the iphone but could not wait. Got the DroidX and I have to say that I was pleasently surprised. I really like this phone. I know that Apple has more apps than android, but it does have all the apps I need. By the time the iphone comes to verizon maybe 4g will be the current speed, so at that time I will see if I want to switch to the iphone. Until then I will enjoy my DroidX….
