Apple has just acquired a handful of patents. Three of which, are the ornamental design of iDevice accessories.
First, is the iPad official charging dock. It's the one that props the device up for browsing or typing while charging. Because it's a charger, the device must sit in portrait mode. We are hoping the upcoming iPad 2 fixes this by adding an extra connector:
They have also been granted a patent for their dock inserts. The inserts are nothing more than a small piece of plastic that fits within a charging dock and makes it so that the iOS device you are using sits snugly as it charges (here is a real one from Apple's product page):
And then there is the iPod strap. It's that arm strap that runners use so that they can easily access their iPod controls while on the move:
Unfortunately, it was nothing new this time, but it makes for interesting reading.
