Newest iPad 2 Rumor: You Can’t Be Too Thin – Or Too Loud

Get that football-sized grain of salt ready: A Japanese blog with no prior history of accurate rumor-mongering is reporting that the next generation of iPads will be be thinner (3-mm reduction in bezel width), have a flatter back to reduce wobble, and feature a "wide-range speaker" covered with "metal mesh" (artist's rendition above).  The same blog article reinforced the current "it's shipping in January" scuttlebutt, but was curiously mute regarding a front camera.
