It was rumored for a while that Verizon would introduce some sort of unlimited data option for iPhone users. Who knew that it meant doing away with the $15/month 150MB option, as Engadget recently found out. Of course, most Verizon iPhone users would probably opt for the unlimited data plan anyway.
It still beats AT&T's plans, which top at 200MB for $15 a month and 2GB for $25. Though AT&T was said to be introducing a better texting plan. Perhaps more changes are around the corner for them as well.
This plan won't include phones on Verizon's new LTE network, which will no doubt have their own, much higher, pricing tier. Oh well, speed comes at a price.
