"Can you hear me now? Hang on, I need to update my firmware."
Today, Apple released a new version of iOS. The latest build, iOS 4.2.6, won't do anything for those who already own iPhones. It's nothing but an update for a hotspot issue with Verizon iPhones.
Here's what it is according to the release notes:
Fixes a bug to ensure Personal Hotspot data usage is accurately reported (for Verizon iPhones).
That's it. Basically, this update is for Verizon iPhones, which officially released today. Most seem to have preordered it as most of the stores we checked out said it was pretty dead. The rest of us should be in no hurry to grab the update.
