FaceTime for Mac Drops the Beta, Available on Mac App Store at a Small Price

A while back, Apple introduced their FaceTime for Mac Beta. It was a free download from Apple's website, and we played around with it a bit and eventually forgot it was there. Anyway, Apple has now released it on the Mac App Store, and it's no longer in beta.

The FaceTime for Mac App will set you back 99 cents, and will probably work nicely with that FaceTime HD camera on the new MacBook Pro.

Why a buck? Simple. Apple will be upgrading all of those FaceTime cameras as the new hardware rolls out, and if people want to see that beautiful HD (Yeah, you don't want to see us in HD, trust us.) they have to shop the Mac App Store. Nice way to pull people in.
