Google’s Homepage Gets iPad Control for One Day

Google's homepage has received a minor update in celebration of Jules Verne's 183rd birthday.

In it, you can control Captain Nemo's Nautilus sub with your iOS Device's accerometer. Bonus, some laptops like the MacBook Pro also have an accelerometer (in order to protect the spinning hard drive when the computer takes a sudden spill or tilt. You can actually use that to control the scenery here as well.

There's also a little control stick on the right side. Play around with it, and see where it takes you. iOS users on an iPhone will have to view this in Classic mode (it defaults to mobile).
