What a larger iPhone display may look like.
The latest iPhone rumor 'round the block involves a larger display on Apple's popular handset. The report comes from the Digitimes, who credits component suppliers with giving them this new information. As with the iPhone nano rumors (which are said to be an attempt to compete with lower-priced Android phones) the larger 4-inch screen of the iPhone 5 will be delivered to compete with the larger, more feature-driven Anddroid phones.
The iPhone 4, which Apple currently sells, is equipped with a 3.5-inch screen, giving the iPhone 5 display an extra half-inch when measured diagonally. That's if the report is true.
You can read up on some of the other information that has been gathered about the iPhone 5 here. That's of course a separate rumor from the iPhone nano, which we've heard about in recent days. You can catch up on information of the small iPhone over here.
