Website 9to5Mac, along with iFixYouri have managed to get their hands on what they believe is the LCD panel for the iPad 2.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to tell right now whether or not this display has a higher resolution than the previous model. However, they were able to figure out a few things by comparing it to the older screen.
It's noted that the build is definitely of a higher quality. It's also said to be lighter, and more than a mm thinner than the current display. They also note that the surrounding frame is smaller, meaning that this could give designers more tapering options in what will probably be a much lighter weight iPad 2.
