As more places begin listing the White iPhone 4 in their inventories, it's starting to seem as if we may see the missing handset after all. When we last heard, there were issues surrounding the device. We heard rumors that Steve Jobs was not happy with the quality. We also heard that the casing caused some problems with the proximity sensor and the camera flash. That was also Steve Wozniak's theory when he spoke on the Engadget show.

Still, Apple remains quiet on the whole white iPhone 4 thing. They haven't said why it's being delayed or if they even plan to release it at this point, so all we have to go by is store listings like these. Best Buy has listed two models of the handset, and even given them shelf space. It's always a bit of a tough call with these. Is it guesswork? We're more inclined to believe that because they are a major retailer, Apple may have already discussed with some of the higher ups that the white iPhone is on the way, and they should start preparing. Of course that preparation probably didn't mean giving the public yet more reason to believe that it may be happening after all.
Even if it happens, it seems very late in the game. Meanwhile, the Verizon iPhone will be released in the next few days, and the iPhone 5 is probably in the pipeline for June as the various iPhone upgrades before it.
