During a recent GDC panel, Rovio CEO Peter Vesterbacka announced the latest Angry Birds Seasons update. The update theme this time around will fit March with a little St. Patty's Day magic.
There aren't many details, but anyone who picked up Angry Birds Seasons knows that it's paid off as developer Rovio has been consistent with keeping it up to date and giving it a refresh to match the time of year. It's also nice to be able to jump back and play some of the older seasons.
We aren't quite sure how the game will celebrate St. Patrick's day, but we know that most people associate it with wearing green and ungodly amounts of beer. Maybe they will turn it into a drinking game? For every pig you squash, you down some beer?
The update they say will be available before St. Patrick's Day (March 17) so you have plenty of time to practice playing the game before the festivities start. Just know that St. Patty's Day falls on a Thursday this year, so if you work on Friday you may want to keep it down a bit.
For now, you can check out Angry Birds seasons here.
We have posted video walkthroughs from scarbzscope in the past, and you can use those to get caught up:
