Apple has just released their latest update for iOS. iOS 4.3.1, which was rumored a few days ago. It came sooner than expected as website BGR was the first to get the scoop.

This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:

We heard of various issues with the software in the past. Though we were unable to confirm some of them ourselves, readers chimed in to let us know that they did see some of these problems. Here's to hoping that this will take care of any problems they had with the software, and perhaps some of those readers can let us know in the comments section if they have seen any improvements in performance on their devices.
To download, simply connect your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and hit "check for update" in iTunes. The computer will do the rest.
