AT&T is offering a free month of data if you decide to buy the iPad 2 on their network.
A while back we wrote a few pros and cons to both AT&T and Verizon. We looked at both carriers and asked ourselves what each one had to offer in the way of 3G data for the iPad 2.
The truth is that a lot of it depends on who your current carrier is and where you are located. If you are in an area with poor service for one or the other, you probably already know who to go with. Well it looks like AT&T is pushing even harder to get people to use their iPad 2. They recently announced via email that they will be offering their $25 2GB plan for one month, free of charge.
You will have to call them up at 1-888-237-5888 and ask them for more information about the offer, but it sounds worth checking out for those who have been considering the iPad 2 on AT&T.
What's also nice is that they advertise "No Commitment, No Early Termination Fee, No Activation or Other Fees." That in itself is a sweet bonus if they are offering free data. There has to be a catch though, right?
Well, as with anything, if it's something you want to do, make sure you check out all the details so that you can know for sure if it's as good as it sounds.
Maybe it can help them win a few new subscribers over. What's your take? Let us know in the comments.
