You can now view the iPad 2 announcement event from earlier today. As you may know by now, Apple did not host a live stream of the event this time around, something they did with the last few events. We have no idea why, but whatever it was, it doesn't matter now, because the event is now available for viewing for the rest of us.
Here's the iTunes description of the event:
Apple Special Event, March 2011
ReleasedMar 02, 2011
On March 2, Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the forthcoming iPad 2 as well as the release of i0S 4.3.
There are two ways to watch the video. You can choose to download it on iTunes and see it on your Mac, PC or iDevice, or you can drop by Apple's website and view it here.
Our favorite method involves kicking back with a soda after work and streaming it on Apple TV. It's nice to get away from the computer every once in a while, especially after a long day of iPad 2 announcements and rumors.
In the video you will of course see everything that was announced today, which you can quickly go over with this link: 18 things to know about the iPad 2
The full video is just a little over an hour long, at 72 min, so make sure you get some of your other stuff out of the way.
For now, we will be checking out the event and posting some of the other stuff that comes up (Multitasking!).
