Ever get the urge to film or take photos with your iPad and Tweet them?

The official Twitter App for iPad has received a new update. This latest update caters to the iPad 2 with camera support for both video and photos. So now you can use your iPad 2 to take a still or some video and upload it directly through the application in a Tweet to an upload service of your liking.

The update is a minor one, but we are sure that iPad 2 owners will welcome the change. Though it's worth keeping in mind that there are various Twitter clients for iPad and any one of them may have these features.

Here's the update information from the application's official page on the App Store:

What's New in Version 3.3.2

– Photo/Video capture support for iPad 2
– Disabled significant location change monitoring that was causing compass to appear constantly when in app
– Bug Fixes from user reported crashes

We'll be honest and say we haven't tried to official Twitter app in ages, as we've lately been fans of Echofon. Either way, you can check out the official app here. It's a free download of course.

However, we do recommend giving Echofon at least a try, the free version works pretty well (Link).
