Cee-Lo’s F**K You Done With iPad Apps

Cee-Lo Green, whose popular hit “F**k You” or “Forget You” if you’re going radio-friendly, would be happy to know that someone out there took the time to put together a cover is his song with a bunch of iPad apps.

It’s a cool cover and it’s a catchy song. What’s nice is the use of the NES controller sound app for the vocal melody.

It’s always amazing to see what kinds of musical projects can be composed with apps like these. We’ve seen stuff before. We also know that the latest Gorillaz album, The Fall, was done mostly on an iPad with an army of both free and paid apps.

We are definitely going to see more of this kind of stuff as time goes on. More and more people will have access to mobile devices like the iPad, and the instruments will become more powerful. Who’d have thought a few years ago when GarageBand even seemed demanding on a PowerBook (remember those?) that you would get GarageBand to run on a handheld touchscreen?

Wow times change fast. One day, our future may actually be like that video we saw last week. Yeah, let us hope not. We don’t like the idea of being shot with an iPhone.
