It's been almost a year, and people have been waiting for the white iPhone 4 since June 2010. Well it looks like Apple may/will finally be releasing the white iPhone 4 this spring. Well, we heard they were releasing it months ago, but it kept disappearing before we ever saw it.
Still, this time it may be officially official…again. This is due, according to reports, to manufacturing problems that slowed development. Most figured that it had something to do with the camera. At this point, it's not known whether the iPhone 4 will be on AT&T or Verizon first, or released on both networks at the same time.
Some may remember when Apple's Phil Schiller went on the record by posting on Twitter that the new device would be available this spring. That's in line with today's confirmation and reports that we heard back in October that the device had been pushed back to Spring 2011.
At this point, it seems a bit late for a white iPhone 4 as many may be waiting for the iPhone 5 if they want the latest and the greatest. However, this does fall in line with rumors that the iPhone 5 would be pushed to September.
Well, at least those who have been waiting for all that time will finally be getting their wish. It's taken a while, but you know what they say, "better late than never."
