If you are jailbreaking and thinking about updating to 4.3.1 firmware, you may want to hold off for a while. That's what some are saying as they find that some jb applications aren't working on their devices.
iOS 4.3.1 recently received an untethered jailbreak courtesy of the iPhone Dev-Team and ion1c (Stefan Essar). We even posted a how to (some users are having issues, but we tested it on our iPad and can confirm that it worked on our end.).
The bad news is that it seems some popular Cydia packages are not yet working with iOS 4.3.1. Make sure you take note of some of these in case they happen to be something you use often.
The following as applications that do not work in iOS 4.3.1:
- Action Menu
They also note that the AV forums are saying that AppBackup doesn't seem to be working either, but added that it's still unconfirmed at this point. If you jailbreak and rely on any of those apps, it may be best to wait a bit before 4.3.1.
Feel free to leave us some comments if you find any packages that don't seem to work for you, either. We will keep an eye out for more information.
