Don't you just love blurry leaked shots? Well, here's one for you. Website CrunchGear has obtained one of what is rumored to be an iPod touch 5G. If the alleged photo is in fact real, it shows that the Home Button is no longer actually a button, it's touch-based, like the rest of the screen. This means that the entire front face of this device is one flat surface.
Of course we don't know if it's real. We don't know how keen on the idea of a button like this one we are, it looks too easy to accidentally press, especially if we were to see other iDevices, we have the iPad in mind specifically, follow suit. Heck, if they were going this route, we don't know why they just wouldn't ditch the button altogether–might make more sense.
Either way, take it for what you will. We aren't saying it's real, and we aren't saying it's fake. We're telling you what someone out there is claiming is real. Still, if someone were to want to play with our minds like that, wouldn't they just go with the iPhone 5? Who knows.
So readers, take a look at the pictures, what do you think?
