Do you browse around websites you're not supposed to? Well, a lot of people do. Still, if can be embarrassing is someone else borrows your iPad or iPhone and sees what you've been looking at. Again, this can lead to quite a bit of embarrassment when someone else uses the iPad or iPhone. They pick it up, and they decide to do a Google search for a some of the best places to get a burger, and they see that your last search was for "big breasted blonde…" or "Nude women" whoops! Yeah, busted. Right? Well, not if you make sure to clear your internet history! Especially if you've been checking out Playboy for iPad. Don't let that happen to you. Especially if your mom or grandma decides to try out that magical new device. Oh boy, they'll find magic all right. They won't be too thrilled with the magic they find, either.
Here's how to do that.
First, launch Mobile Safari. Make sure that you don't have any other windows open. Don't want your history to quickly refill with the stuff you were trying to clear out, right?
1) Hit the little open book icon at the top left corner of your Mobile Safari browser. This will bring up your history. Whoops, someone's been looking up Playboy for iPad again. Time to clear that out!
2) Next to the word "History" you will see "Clear History." Simply tap on that to clear your history. This will eliminate your web history in Mobile Safari as well as clearing your past Google searches, ensuring that no one picks up your iPad and stumbles onto the websites you don't want them to know you visit.
