Research in Motion's (RIM) BlackBerry 7 OS now as an SDK (software development kit), and it hints at some of the upcoming features of the BlackBerry OS.
According to the official site, it's adding some of the following: NFC (near-field communication) capabilities, which it seems is soon becoming a standard in smartphones. They also mention "updated rich graphics" a compass and even AR (augmented reality).
