UPDATE: Download latest iTunes from this page - Legacy iTunes Download Archive , Download iOS 5 from this page : iOS Firmware/IPSW Download Guide
Wheras the developer version was made available immediately after the keynote at WWDC 2011, the iOS 5 is not expected to be available for users as far as this fall. In order to install iOS 5 on your iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone, you need to install the iTunes 10.5 beta for your Windows or Mac.
Whereas we have been upgraded to iTunes 10.3 which offers support for Apple’s new iCloud feature, the iTunes 10.5 adds support for iOS 5 and much like the Operating System, its only available for developers. In addition, the iTunes 10.5 supports more iCloud features compared to iTunes 10.3.
Currently the iTunes 10.5 beta is only available to registered developers who have paid a nominal fee to test the features of iOS 5. However, we have found a way which lets you downloade the iTunes 10.5 beta for FREE, in order to let you install the newly released iOS 5.
The iTunes 10.5 beta can be downloaded from iOS Dev Center here.
However for those looking forward on getting an early grab without paying the fee, visit any of the direct links below to begin download:
1. iTunes 10.5 For Mac OS X [here]
2. iTunes 10.5 For Windows 32-bit [here]
3. iTunes 10.5 For Windows 64-bit [here]
NOTE: Make sure to backup your iTunes library file, since it is upgrades as part of 10.5 beta install. With out backed up file you will not be able to downgrade from beta and will need to reconfigure your library for the begining.

Good Work! I get my hands on your post earlier today and I found it quite informative, I’ll definitely go with the idea to upgrade my device with the respective OS.
Any ideas why i cant see WI-FI Syncing in the summary?
I had beta 1 of both iTunes and iOS5, downloaded beta 2 of both and although it tells me its 9A5248b and 10.5 beta 2, theres no option for WI-FI Syncing.
I’ve installed it again, but the same thing, no WI-FI Sync option.
it says this itunes has expired…??
You may have downloaded beta which expired, you need to download the latest beta.
