The iPad now has over 100,000 Apps. It took almost 15 months. That’s fast growth. Website MacStories says that these applications include both iPad-only apps and iPhone / iPod touch apps that were made universal after the iPad was released.
Developers seem to enjoy working on the platform. If anything, it shows how necessary it is to release content on the platform. If you just look around, many websites and publications tell you to download their iPad app. It’s almost like their reminders to follow them on Twitter or find them on Facebook. Of course it’s often hard find what you want within the App Store. Having 100,000 floating around doesn’t make it easy. Luckily, there are apps designed just to help you find apps.
