The PlayBook just can't seem to take off as a successful tablet. There are certain necessary applications missing, such as a built-in email client. Carriers haven't shown much interest in the tablet, and neither have consumers.
Now, we are hearing news (via BGR) that carrier O2 in the UK will not be carrying the PlayBook. They put out an official statement, "unfortunately, there are some issues with the end to end customer experience."
RIM showed off so much in the months leading up to the PlayBook, and now there is little to nothing to show for it. Will they do something about it? They say they will add the necessary stuff on the software end, but it can't be fast enough for consumers.
