Our Stock iPhone 5 Photo (Not an iPhone 5)
As expected, no new iPhone hardware was shown off at WWDC. Apple made it pretty clear that it would not happen and that the keynote would focus on software such as Mac OS X Lion, iOS 5 and iCloud, which they did.
Now, we are hearing that the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S, whatever it's going to be called, is in its final testing phases. This, in order to meet the expected September ship window. Production should begin in July, if reports are accurate.
The rumors of the current units undergoing testing come from website 9to5Mac, who claims that their source has been reliable in the past. They say that it's currently being carried around by high level Apple and carrier executives. Yeah, Steve Jobs and Phil Schiller get to carry around their iPhone 5 early.
Here are a couple more interesting bits taken directly from 9to5Mac's report:

- Apple and Verizon are still working out kinks regarding support for iOS 5‚Äö√Ñ?s over-the-air updates…
