In the past Samsung has been responsible for manufacturing the processors in Apple's iOS devices. Now it seems that Taiwan-based Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) is going to be in charge of it. That was rumored in the past, as some may remember.
Now new reports are coming in, this time from Reuters, and according to them, their source has informed them that TSMC is already testing the next-gen chips for Apple's devices, likely to be dubbed the A6. This Would signify a further split from Samsung, which they have been in a legal battle with for a good portion of this year over Samsung's alleged copying of Apple's patented designs.
