According to ComScore data, one in three cellular phones in the US is now a smartphone. This helps reaffirm what we heard from Nielsen last week, with a report that said smartphone sales have surpassed those of feature phones.

While Google still leads as the most popular smartphone maker, Apple continues as second. RIM, Microsoft and Palm OSes are still behind the two major smartphone operating systems.
