An iOS hacker has been working on porting Swype to iPhone. It's a jailbreak only, and it's still a work in progress (see buggy). Still, it's a good start for what could be an awesome jailbreak app.
Swype is one of the coolest features of Android. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, typing is actually a breeze. If anything, it's nice to have the option. Swype is that feature that lets you slide your finger around the virtual keyboard to type. It does a pretty good job of it, too.
It's not available on iOS, because it's part of Google's mobile operating system. Actually, we wrote about something similar, Writing Pad in 2008, but it was removed due to licensing issues. A long time ago, we played around with different typing methods. You can check that out here.
You can jailbreak your iDevice easily with jailbreakme.
