Apple is reportedly working on giving users a way to consolidate multiple Apple IDs. This will help for users who have a separate MobileMe and Apple ID. It’s expected that this will become a bigger problem with the launch of iCloud.
However, it’s reported that Apple knows about this and that two users who have emailed CEO Tim Cook have actually received phone calls from Apple informing them that the company is working on a solution.
According to reports, an Apple representative also recommended that users who have multiple IDs stick to one for making their purchases for now until the fix is made.
As Apple Insider reports, devices are locked to an Apple ID for 90 days and some have issues with automatic downloads because they must switch between IDs and remember multiple logins, passwords, etc. Causing quite a bit of hassle for those users.
