Seems like, the much-created hype for the upcoming iPhone 5 has finally delivered on fruitful results. Suppliers connected with the supply chain of the new iDevice in Taiwan have been witnessed on speeding up the production for the smartphone with volume shipments to begin soon.
Foxconn Electronics, a multinational business group anchored by the Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd, being the OEM maker for the Apple iPad and now for the iPhone 5 has reportedly reached on production of approx. 150,000 units per day.
Moreover, Largan Precision the Lens maker, TPK Holding being the touch panel manufacturer, G-Tech Optoelectronics supplier for reinforced glass and battery vendors including Simplo and Dynapack are seen operating at full swing.
According to an industry source:
Shipments of iPhone 5 from the supply chain are expected to reach 5-6 million in September and top over 22 million units in the fourth quarter as suppliers will ship less iPhone 4 and CDMA-version iPhones during the final quarter of the year.
For a start, the Cupertino-giant would release the smartphone in the U.S first but an eye on the grey market like China and obviously the European gadget craving fans should be taken into consideration.
