Hands-On Review: Sena Folio Case For iPads

In case you haven’t been paying attention, here at iSmashPhone.com, we like Sena’s iDevice casesA lot.  Their design philosophy of fine leather, hand-stitched construction, and intelligent design and accessorizing results in a line of protective cases you actually want to show off.

The Folio line of iPad cases continue the Sena tradition.  Its US$99.99 price tag isn’t cheap, but you really are getting what you pay for.  The portfolio-design case comes in your choice of four colors and two textures (black, brown, red, or orange smooth, and black or red crocodile pattern), with a soft velvet lining in the iPad pocket proper.  There are pockets for credit cards and driver’s license/ID, and a even slot to hold your checkbook if you don’t want to stuff your entire wallet into your pocket.  There’s also an integrated, recessed collapsible kickstand for desktop video viewing.  All in all, the Folio packs a ton of features and functionality, and its a stylish and convenient way to concentrate your most needed data and life tools into one package.
